Marvin Lewis has told Chad Johnson he can no longer celebrate on the field

Chad Johnson's comment when questioned about it "pretty lame, isn't it."

I wouldn't read too much into this. He gets into the endzone, he'll be doing his thing.

After listening to Johnson when they interviewed him, I was suprised how publicly agreeable he was with the request. That's got to be tough when you have an espn commercial that shows him in a board room reviewing ideas for his next endzone celebration.

My ferverent hope is that chad doesn't have the chance to celebrate jack shit the rest of the year. He screwed with the Karma gods when he did that commercial. Much as I like the cat, he had it comin'.

Why not let him have his fun? If he isn't belittling anyone else or making himself look too foolish, I say let him do his thing.

Oh I like his work. Just hoping he doesn't score too much. Hurts my Steelers chances.

I figured you had an ulterior motive here.
