Want to go ahead and get this one out early. This is a big NFC game that could ultimately decide the playing field in the playoffs if both teams do in fact fight through the current injury problems.

Plaxico Burress - the pressure in on this guy now, and what does he do? He does what no teammate probably wanted to hear him do and and started talking down about the Chicago Bears defensive backs. Not to Burress, the Bears defense doesn't need an excuse to get fired up for a game.

Rex Grossman - He is the key to victory for the Giants. If the Giants can find a way to pressure Grossman, given the injuries on the defensive line, Giants have a great chance to win this game. Now, if the pressure is on, and Grossman goes into another meltdown, does Lovie Smith make a Quarterback change? It is obvious this guy panics under pressure.

Which receiver will step up for the Giants in place of Amani Toomer, who has been very important to the success of the Giants this year?

As long as Grossman doesn't give up any points and can score 10, the Bears will win the game. I do not expect the Giants to be as potent without Toomer, as the replacement (Carter) isn't as big a threat.
After the embarassment against Miami, either the Bears will fold up their tents and give up or they will be fired up to show that it was an aberration.

This game will all come down to if Chicago can control Tiki and Pressure Eli. I think with the loss of Strahan and others, the Bears will be able to move the ball and get some points. I would not be surprised though to see this as a FG game.

Who are you taking? Bears or Giants?

I think the Giants will win this, but need the Bears to win it.

I hope the giants win, but I think bears win by 4 or 7.

is there anyone at NBC or ESPN who actually watches football? couldn't someone at NBC say "hmmm, maybe football fans don't want to watch 5 minutes of Pink every Sunday night before the game". same goes for the painful celebrity announcers during MNF on espn.

why do the bears always play Tilman man to man against the #1 WR? that's how they lost to carolina last year in the playoffs. if they double cover steve smith last year, they win that game. i guess plaxico is no steve smith though. still, they overestimate tilman's abilities.

Eli looked good on the first play, Tiki had no hole on the 2nd play. The 3rd play was open nicely for Tiki, though. Nice tackle, but 15 yards farther downfield than it should have been.

good start as they give the ball to tiki, and then they kill the drive by letting eli throw the ball a couple times.

honestly, after the preseason is seemed obvious to everyone but the bears management that Griese should be teh starter, not grossman. grossman has had some monster games, but they were mostly against really awlful defenses.

if griese is the starter, I suspect the bears are still undefeated and a much stronger team.

The Bears have to do a better job, both offensively and defensively, in this game or it will not be close. The Giants have moved the ball too easily.

So, are we going to hear all week how selfish the Giants players are by getting that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for celebrating or does that only happen if T.O. does it?
