This thing is going extremely quickly for a draft of this type... Nothing like past ones we've been involved with at other sites.

yeah, the pace so far has been better than I expected, especially with the small number of people involved. Thanks to those that are jumping in for the unowned teams.

Took Merriman for Jacksonville at 1.21. Not sure if he will end up a linemen or linebacker, but he will be a stud at either position in the NFL.

nice pick on Merriman, Mojo. I actually had his name typed in for Dallas, but I just couldn't pull the trigger.

Ravens have a few needs and WR is probably #1.

Clayton has breakaway speed, runs well after the catch and catches everything. Something the Ravens have never had.

took Darryl Blackstock for the Seachickens. Its really hard to tell what Seattle will do in the draft this early since they have so many decisions to make regarding their free agents.

I just sent an e-mail to the guy who is supposed to pick for Denver... let's give him a few hours before someone picks for him.

Okay... I put in the picks for Denver and the Jets.

Both needed Defense. Denver shores up the middle with this pick, while the Jets address the need for youth and shut-down ability at corner.

Well, I think the Carlos Rogers is the best corner coming out of the draft so for the Jets to get him here is great.

Atlanta goes with Miller here because his value is better than the other players available at this pick in their need areas. D-Line help would've been nice, but Miller is an elite athlete and he'll make the secondary better for years to come.

San Diego could use a big time defensive end. In the 3-4 scheme that they are running, Marcus Spears would team well with Jamal Williams to fill gaps in the run game. San Diego would be extremely happy with a Mike Williams/Marcus Spears combo in the first round.

You're definitely having a solid draft.

I drafted for the Colts and had a hard time deciding between David Pollack and Brandon Browner. I think Pollack would do great opposite Freeny but think that Indy needs to solidify their secondary too. Browner is a corner with great size and speed.

Drafted Khalif Barnes for the Steelers. NO reason why Barnes cannot be a day one starter and never look back. Barnes has alot of natural strength and athletic ability. With the proper NFL coaching, he will have no problem making the leap into the NFL.

Good choice for the Steelers. Solid O-Linemen are always a good choice for a team without a lot of holes elsewhere.

When I looked over the team, and looked at Barnes being availabe, it just seemed like a perfect match. An offensive lineman has to be pretty damn good to rate a first round pick, but there are a couple in this draft that are worthy.

Took Hawthorne for the Eagles. He will be another solid Run stuffer in the middle, and give them depth which they sorely needed. Not to mention the fact it gives them the flexibility NOT to offer long term to Simon.

Very nice pick. Stopping a bruising RB may have been the Eagles biggest deficiency this past season.

Truth be known, I had another pick in mind...but since I have to pick again in just about 4 picks, I am hoping he drops to me there instead.

Taking Matt Roth for the Browns. There may be more pressing "needs" than defensive end, but its not always best to draft for needs. Roth could fit in well to a change in defensive scheme next year.

Cleveland still needs to upgrade the offensive line via free angency or the draft.
