Former Lions first-round draft choice Joey Harrington returns to face the club he quarterbacked from 2002-05. Detroit, playing host to its 67th Thanksgiving game, will confront a team with three consecutive victories, reminiscent of Miami's six victories in a row to conclude 2005. The Dolphins will have to defend against the NFL's fifth-ranked passing game.

The Dolphins get the ball and the Lions fans greet him with a chorus of boos. the announcer sums it up nicely: It's like Harrington has never left, he is behind and being booed.

Lions pushed back by the Dolphins D 3rd and 18 the Dolphins almost get a safety but are penalized by a facemask call. Lions get a first down again at the 16. Harris gets a yard, incomplete pass( 3rd and 9) Kitna its Roy Williams for 20+ yards and the LIons are out of the hole and moving again.

Lions are now out at the 41, Kitna completes a 3 yard pass. then connect with Furrey for a first down. Roy Williams has 3 20+ yard catches and is approaching !000 yards for this year. Could be the first wr to reach it this year. Casion for 4 yards and th e LIons have to kick the ball away to the Dolphins, touchback, Phins start at the 20.

At the end of the third period sammy morris puts up a 55 yarder and Travis Minor puts up a 9 yarder. Morris has run again. With the Dolphins ahead by 14 Brown may be getting a rest, or will not be seen again? with one quarter left. Brown had 68 yards.

Morris and Minor have run very well this drive as Mare makes it 27-10 and 3 scores away for the lions.

It was a good game. I was there. The Detroit fans booed Harrington until he threw his second TD. The mass exodus started in the third quarter and never really stopped.
