Big game coming up for the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants this weekend. After a clutch win on Thanksgiving against the Colts, followed by a last quarter meltdown by the Giants on Sunday, who lost to the Tennessee Titans, The Cowboys find them selves with a one game lead in the NFC East and a new kicker. The Giants find themselves doing some finger pointing.

A win by Dallas this weekend puts the team 2 games ahead of the Giants in the NFC East, evens the 2006 series (tiebreaker), and gives the Giants a divisional loss (tiebreaker). Lose the game, and both teams once again are tied by record, with the Giants holding the tiebreakers.

This is a must win game for the Cowboys, just like it is a must win game for the Giants.

I am sorry, but I don't think this will be a good game. Dallas will win. Period.

I am more than waiting for the dallas avatar Mike and others need me to wear with Dallas winning the NFC east.

Send it to me when you are ready Mike.

I "wish" I could feel that confident. The Giants held a players meeting, and they will be up for this game. Oddly, Eli Manning didn't address the team though.

I never look at an NFC East matchup as decided before the game starts. These are always upsets waiting to happen.

Normally, I would agree with you.

However, Eli simply looks lost, and seems to have lost his composure and confidence..and the Dallas Def isn't going to help. Also, with Toomer out, Shockey banged up, and Burress an unknown...I simply don't see the tools necessary to get this team going.

Personally, I happen to think an embarrassing loss to a division rival will kick start them and make them push to the playoffs. Only time will tell though.

Im with Mike and dont consider this one in the bag. Your reasoning is sound Phicin, but even though I predicted the Dallas Cowboys into the SuperBowl this year, I at this point am taking nothing for granted. You almost come to expect the other shoe to drop in Dallas. This is not the road to the playoffs I envisioned and Ill admit my prediction may have been more youthful enthusiasm then anything else. This is an important game for Dallas for divisional standings but I am almost more excited for the upcoming Saints game however.

Wow, just seen this.

After Coughlin calls out Manning for the last interception, Eli Manning calls out Plaxico Burress for not trying harder on that play during a radio interview on Monday.

I cant believe that the Giants are talking trash in the papers. As far as I am concerened they have lost all right to talk trash. When you play that poorly, you just have to live with yourselves and shut the hell up.

The Giants situation is strange one.

Disciplinarian Coach - That doesn't mesh well with Eli Manning or Plaxico Burress. Eli sees big brother basically running the show in Indianapolis and wants the same thing. Coughlin isn't going to allow that. Eli sees big brother's receivers laying out for the football and leaving 100% on the field. There isn't a receiver like that on this roster other than Amani Toomer, and he is hurt. Moss may end up being one of those guys, but he has to get on the field. Burress will never be one of those guys.

Eli Manning isn't going anywhere, so to me, that means Burress definitely has to be on the way out of New York.

Coughlin, sadly for the Giants, is probably on his way out as well, unless the team gets behind him, allowing him to get full control of his quarterback.

Eli needs to realize that he is not his big brother yet, and nowhere close to it. Respect isn't given, it is earned.

Plenty of trash talking back and forth, gotta love it. Shockey and Burress running their mouths, Terrell Owens retaliating with a little trash talking himself.

If Terrell Owens lights up the secondary this week, the Giants secondary might have to knock Burress around a little during next weeks practice.

Fox NFL show says Strahan is lobbying pregame to play despite his fractured foot. They also said he may have been reinjuried when he stuck his foot in his mouth.

I am surprised that the point speard is this close given all the pregame hype towards Dallas. The Giant fans must really be puting their money where their mouths are.

Nothing better to wake a struggling Giants team up than a visit from Dallas.

You think the Giants are just gonna lay down?
They don't do that there.
They are MEN!

That's what Strahan said anyway.
