The Bears are trying to maintain home field advantage for the playoffs. It looked like a sure thing until they went down in defeat last week to the New England Patriots.

Teams are showing that the key to competing, or beating the Chicago Bears is pressuring Rex Grossman.

Can the Vikings step up in a division rivalry game and play a spoiler role?

This could end up being a lot more interesting then most people think. The Vikes are good at stopping the run. If they can shut down the Bears rushing game they might be able to force a couple of Grossman errors.

One thing for sure, the announcers will talk again and again about how Rex Grossman was trash talking to the defense in the first matchup.

Rashid Davis fumbles away the opening kickoff. Great Field position for the Vikes.

Bears moved the ball a little then punts. Mindmeld Moore has a nice return that gets called back. Vikes start back deep.

Brad Johnson gets hit as he throws, wobbly, wounded duck that is intercepted. Grossman missed Mushy for a Td and then throws An int himself . Vikes ball again.

Grossman and interceptions.

As Forest Gump would say, they go together like peas and carrots.

Another INT

I didn't realize it was that windy out today but I wouldn't know since no way in hell I'm going out in this cold today. I will stay in my warm apartment.

And how many more mistakes does Grossman need to have until they finally make a QB switch?

Do the Bears realize they will never go to the Superbowl with Grossman as the QB. And I'm not saying Griese is the answer either.

Devin Hister returns a TD Damn it!!

bright and Sunny but all the players look like little smokestacks. Bears Hester returns a punt for a TD. Runs through the entire Vikes team on the way. 7-0 Bears.

Chester Taylor rips off a 42 yarder yarder to put the Vikes in the red Zone. Johnson gets a roughing the paser call and Vikes on the 10. 3rd and goal now from the 10, shovel pass? FG is good.
