Will Joe Gibbs Be Back In 2007?

Gibbs did not give any words of encouragement about returning for the 2007 season when repeatedly questioned by reporters today. He came back to Washington with what was expected to be a 5 year plan, but much doubt has been circulating that he will stay beyond this season.

All he would say today is he is committed to doing everything he can to help this team this year, and refused to speculate on anything further.

What is your guess, is he coming back? Should he come back?

I think the game may have passed him by. Could be time to go to NASCAR full-time.

Gotta agree with Catman. I'm sure he'd have more fun watching cars go round and round.....

There is an article at ESPN that states he is back next year. This thread somewhat surprises me as I thougth this was pretty old news.

This is the article, it was from yesterday. The article gives one little part of everything he said. The quote that they are using to say he plans on being back next year is an answer he gave in regards to this season.

As stated, when specifically asked if he would return next year, he specifically refused to answer it and said that he would not discuss it.
