| Mission of Satan | I dropped Grossman after two negative-point weeks in a row. I really have no interest in getting him back. But now I'm in a tight spot. I've got to choose 2 of these 3, and one of them plays tonight so I need to get it figured out quick: Harrington: Home against New England. Has been consistently mediocre since i picked him up. Probably gonna play him. Carr: Home against Tennessee. Either does fairly well or stinks up the place. Last week, he also got me negative points in a horrendous performance against Oakland. Anderson : Frye's backup. Plays tonight in PIttsburgh. He had never had a NFL snap before he came in and threw 2 TDs and 1 int. against KC last week. He starts this week. Keep in mind he's unproven and KC really quit playing in the end so it's not really a testament to his ability that he beat us.Thanks! |

| Richest Vman Alive Forum Leader | you need to pick up grossman again. hes still your best option most weeks with a really easy schedule the rest of the way. if you have to start 2, you CANT cut him. |

| Mission of Satan | thanks for the input, and you are probably right, but i hate him. and i hold grudges. even if he scores 30 points next week, i won't feel an ounce of regret because the roller coaster and nerves are simply not worth it. he got me negative 10 points in two weeks. considering i usually expect at least 15-20 points out of a QB per week, that technically put me in the hole 40 points from what i should have gotten. i actually dropped two places in my points league. i think minnesota has the worst pass-defense in the league and he couldn't throw more than 34 yards against them, along with 3 interceptions and a fumble. and watching him play - i can out throw him. he throws those high, slow balls that give the whole world time to get under them and catch them - including defenders. i think arizona exposed him that monday night a while back and now every team, no matter how crappy, has the answer to frazzling grossman. it's the same thing i played with that jackass shanahan and his "which RB am i gonna play this week in denver?" game. even though i think tatum is the man again and he has great scoring ability, and he's out there, i don't even want to get on that merry-go-round again. i'm really looking for consistency and am tired of the guys who light it up one week just to screw you over the next. wow - that was a bitter post! damn you, grossman! p.s. that derek anderson kid, though they lost bad to pittsburgh, actually got 13.44 points on my bench. that's 3 x what grossman got last week ![]() |

| Water Boy | Since you play two QBs, I would get Grossman back too, just to stick on your bench. I would definitely rather play Harrington and Carr though. While neither are likely to rip it up, they won't kill you like Grossman is prone to do. I always thought Grossman was a fraud and have never trusted him. Why? Three words: University of Florida. |

| Mission of Satan | okay yeah so everyone was right - grossman did well this week. but i still am not forgetting the -6 and -2 point weeks he had before this one. had i not played him those weeks (keep in mind they were against easy teams) i'd probably be in 3rd place right now instead of 4th. so i'm still bitter, but, i picked him back up. i had carr playing in NE or harrington in BUF, so i figured i could bench carr and play harrington and grossman. because i sure as hell am not playing green newcomer anderson against baltimore! fingers crossed this isn't a disaster because i have ZERO faith in grossman. guess i'll be happy if i at least get 1 positive point... now what's up with shaun alexander? arghhhh! and still gotta decide between henderson and colston. henderson is inconsistent but i don't think colston is 100% yet. berrian is still out there, too. but again, i'm not excited about putting all the eggs in grossman's basket. |

| Mission of Satan | hackett is out there, too. he's gotten a lot more looks the past couple weeks and should get more with darrell jackson out. burleson is supposed to take jackson's place but a lot of folks think hackett will still get more action. for now i've got colston in, henderson benched. i'll keep tabs and make my final decision before the games i s'pose. |
