The Patriots played one of their worst game so of the season last week, but luckily it was against the Lions, so they escaped with a win. Vrabel was hurt in the game, looked like it might be serious. Luckily, Vrabel ended up being ok, otherwise this defense would have been in a big jam. Patiots need to keep winning to stay ahead of the Jets, who are playing pretty good football and looking for a playoff spot, and still hoping for a division championship.

The Dolphins were going to be an outstanding team this year. Many expected the team to win the AFC East. Then the games began, Culpepper played horribly, and was eventually replaced by Joey Harrington so Culpepper could begin rehabbing his knee again. After the Quarterback change, the Dolphins began playing well, and actually winning games. They suffered a setback last week, most likely ending an outside chance at a wild card spot.

Talk about the game here,

Bet on the game here.

Patriots | Harrison plans to return this season - Wed Dec 6 12:57:00 p.m. ET 2006(KFFL) Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots SS Rodney Harrison (shoulder) plans to make a return this season and be a factor for the team. "I'm planning on coming back strong and being a big contributor," Harrison said. "I'll put it like this. The next time I play, I don't plan on it being next year. I'm looking forward to this year and I'm working my butt off. I'm not setting any timetables. Just day-by-day."
.
No Ronnie Brown today? That makes it a bit easier.

No Chad Jackson, No Laurence Maroney for the Patriots.

No points for the Patriots.
Brady never has gotten on the same page with his new WR's and it showed in this game. And they still can't hold onto the ball on offense. I hope they can get healthier and turn this around before playoff time. Heck, the Jets still have a shot at the division!

I thought Miami had a good chance to win this one, but didn't think it would be a shutout.

12/25, 78 yards. That is very "not like" Tom Brady.

Absolutely mind-boggling final score. I wasn't able to watch this game since it was not broadcast here - I'm very curious though and would want to see the tape.

just seen the abbreviated version on "Football Night In America"

Jason Taylor - All you need to know, LOL.

Miami is good, and they tend to play the Patriots very tough. 5 wins in their last 6 games. Might be leading this division, but they went with Culpepper over Harrington.

I believe I said before the season started that the Fins would split their games with the Patriots. I think a couple people said I was crazy.

*looks around* Anyone going to raise their hands on this one or are you all going to act like you don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, and Mike, that's two this season.

I watched the entire game and from what I care to remember the punter from MIA kept pinning the Pats inside their 5 yd line.....3 times that I can think of. The Pats would move it out with a few first downs to mid field and then punt it into the end zone.
The Pats only threw the ball deep 2 or 3 times all game and couldn't connect.... and the Fins were all over the short stuff. A couple of turnovers ended drives early as well.
It was 6-0 most of the game as the Pats D did their job....just no offense. The Pats scored a late TD on a gimmicky play to pull to 13-7 but it was called back as it was 2 forward passes.

Patriots got shown for the lousy team they are. Even if they make the playoffs, they are out in round one.

Between this weeks game and the way they struggled at home vs. the Lions last week, I'd have to agree with you.
Although Belichick has a way of getting the most out of his players during playoff time so there is still some hope.

Maybe it's the ass kicking they gave us at our own stadium that affects this, but this is still the team I do not want to see the Bengals go on the road to face come January. That team still scares the shit out of me in the playoffs.
