With any dynasty always check to see if any players were dropped last year. I don't know how yours is set up but if roster size is fairly tight you never know who was dropped last year for a warm body now. You never know there may be a Mike Vick or Vince Young out there.

Harvin lined up in the backfield and as a slot receiver, along with being used as a punt and kickoff returner, in Minnesota's most recent Organized Team Activities, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Analysis: Harvin was often used as a running back in college, so it will be interesting to see if Minnesota's usually vanilla offense uses him in special packages to get him the ball in the open field. He could have a greater impact in his rookie season if he's getting carries or pitches as a running back in addition to being used as a receiver.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans are in no hurry to sign free-agent WR Drew Bennettt (Rams). The team would like to give their younger players as many repetitions as possible. The team thinks they will be OK with the receivers they currently have if those players make progress.

More rookie reps in tenn.

Vito Stellino, of The Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars WR Mike Walker appears to be in the lead for starting wide receiver job opposite WR Torry Holt. Analysis: The Jags aren't exactly stacked at wideout, but Walker had a nice game against Pittsburgh before suffering an injury that limited him to just four catches over the final three months of the season. And he's still looking for his first NFL TD.

less roookie reps in Jax?

Just checked Harvin's 2008 stats, more on the ground than as a WR WOW

Yeah, and it sounds like Minnys O may be adapting to be more exciting. You probably don't get return yards but if Harvin becomes a Felix Jones type he may be more valuable faster than you would think.

Little more Titan WR camp info:

Gary Estwick, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said WR Mark Jones can not only help in the return game but can also help the passing game. "We saw him play the receiver position (before joining Titans) but felt like he could also add some things as a returner. That's primarily what he is, but he also plays receiver.

Ouch it is beging to sound like anybody could emerge in Tenn. Most likely it will be nobody, as usual the last couple of years.

Third-round WR Dion Butler was reportedly "the rookie who stood out most" during the Seahawks' rookie minicamp. Analysis: Butler's 4.3 speed gives the Seahawks a potential big-play threat amongst their gaggle of possession receivers. He also reportedly showcased "soft hands, sharp route running and intelligence" that impressed his offensive coaches at the minicamp.

Seattle is a clusterfock of WR talent, that always gets hurt. If Hasselbacks back acts up Butler may be a guy that the backup QB practices with all the time?
