Matt Forte

Took this guy with the 5th overall pick, and with the exception of 1 week, he's done nothing. Do I stick with him or give up? He's killing me.

Thinking of offering a trade:

Forte and Derrick Mason

for

Ronnie Brown and Torry Holt

Thoughts?

(My other RBs are Mendenhall, Jonathan Stewart, Fred Jackson)

Id like to see what your other WRs look like, but yeah, something is better than nothing.

My other WR's are Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, DeSean Jackson, and Austin Collie.

I don't normally start Mason unless 1 of my top 3 has a Bye/is hurt.

try to make the deal, but if the guy accepts it he should be tested for drugs immediately...seriously, don't be shocked if that one gets an instant rejection. Forte's stock is rock bottom right now.

My wife has Forte in our keeper league, as a keeper no less. I just don't know what to advise her to do. She has a lot invested in him but he is killing her as well. Trade him? Not in our league. She'd be lucky to get a decent player. Cut him? I can't advise her to do that. I think she's stuck holding him and hoping for better things to come from him. But hold him on the bench I tell her.

Yeah I've been waiting hoping he breaks out of it, but it continues... His schedule is relatively tough the rest of the way too, in terms of opposing defenses. The Bears seem to be pass happy. Ronnie Brown's schedule is pretty easy and the Fins are obviously run happy, I'm gonna attempt the trade hopefully he accepts.

Forte is not going to do anything as long as Cutler continues to perform poorly. They are trying to balance out pass and run but when you are constantly behind you have to pass. Also their O line is garbage!!! He will not succeed until they come together..I highly doubt you can get brown for Forte and Mason you might have to sweeten that deal with a better WR. Somebody will be more than happy to take him off your hands but you will be on the losing end of any trade because his value is nothing..
