Point totals versus record...

Let me just preface this by saying this is my first year in a FFL. I am sitting in 2nd place in my league at 4-2 but yesterday I noticed that I have the second lowest point total in the league. Should I be concerned with this going down the stretch? Will this hurt me in the long run?

My Roster is as follows:

QB: Rivers, E Manning, D Anderson
WR: C Johnson, R Moss, A Boldin, P Crayton
RB: F Gore, W Parker, S Morris, L Jordan, D Ward
TE: J Shockey
K: N Rackers
D: Houston

I feel like if these guys stay healthy I am in good shape. Would anyone try to make some moves at this point in the season, any feedback would be much appreciated.

If you are starting 2 WR 2 RB and 1 Flex then I may try to see if I could get a better QB. Moss, 85, Gore, and WP are all studs but if you have them all this must be a smaller league like 8-10 tops so others have stacked lineups too. I think Anderson will fade, Eli will play like eli soon (high TO) and Rivers has been dropped in 2 of my leagues... if i was making a change to your team QB is the place i would do it.

The person win the best W-L record is the winner of the league. In the case of a tie, total points are used as the tiebreaker.

thanks for the tidbit. but that is not what I was getting at. I was getting at the fact that I have eeked out a couple of wins if I should be concerned with that fact reflecting in my win loss columns later in the season.

yea, 8 person league, with 3 wr starting and 2 rb, no flex.

I really like the idea of having rivers now with the addition of Chambers to their line-up. Qb would be a nice upgrade... but I dont know what I am willing to give up to beef up there.

Heh.... my bad.

I agree that Rivers would be the best place for you to upgrade. Only starting 2 RBs means there's no reason for you to start anyone besides Gore and FWP, except on byes. Because of that, you probably don't need so much depth at RB. You might be able to trade some of your worse RBs along with Anderson for a better QB. I'm not sure anyone would go for it, but it's worth a shot.

What QBs are available on waivers?

I don't see any of those QBs as a huge improvement over Manning or Rivers. Testaverde looked pretty good this weekend, but let's see how long that lasts before you pick him up.
See if you can talk up some trades in your league.
