Nog lacks the brutal power Couture succumbed to from Lesnar. I think in a battle of the elderly, Couture has a better skill set. |

| This is based purely on who I think would win H2H at this point. 1. Fedor - No doubt about it. 2. Josh Barnett - Barnett and Lesnar are a toss up to me, could go either way. 3. Brock Lesnar - His 1st fight w/ Mir got derailed by a questionable ref call, he was well on his way to victory before that. He gets the nod over Mir. 4. Frank Mir - Not quite sure if he could beat Randy but he looked good against an ancient Nogueria in his last fight. 5. Randy Couture - He's still pretty damn good. Was even with Lesnar before getting caught on the wrong end of a fist the size of a watermelon. Honorable mentions go to - Alistair Overeem, Shane Carwin and Cheick Kongo. Nogueria doesn't make my list. He was great for along time but his body is done IMO. He needs to retire after he fights Randy. A fight that I think Randy will win. |

| "Child, please." Admin | What's with the barnett love? I do not know much about Overeem, but I do think your other two honorable mentions will smoke Barnett! Fedor will eat him alive..... Maybe a few years ago, but now i just don't see where Barnett is a top 5 HW, let along #2..... That is why these threads are good, love the different views. |

| Haha...I figured I'd get a reaction out of you if I had Barnett @ #2. But honestly, I think Barnett is a great fighter. He's battled with the best of them and won more often than not. His ground game is great, his striking is good enough to beat an inexperienced Lesnar and he's a big boy (250+) It would be a hell of a fight IMO. Last edited by German CTL; 06-08-2009 at 08:12 PM. |

| Why can't all of the organizations just get along dammit?!? There are so many great fights to be made out there! Yeah, I know, its all about lining the execs./fighters pockets before providing the fans with the best possible matchups...but make the best fights happen!!! |
