He will be remembered as arguably the best sports entertainer of all time. He became the face of wrestling for a decade and introduced it into mainstream media. Wrestling is what it is today because of 2 men, Vince and Hogan. There is no Stone Cold, Rock Orton, Cena, or Triple H without Hogan. He will always be remembered as the Hogan from the mid 80's through the early 90's. The All American hero.

I still think of hogan for his WWF times and I think anyone watching WWF in the late 80s and 90s cant forget that. He was the reason I watched WWF, when his career starting declining I tuned out. Stone cold and the rock started reserrecting wwf but hogan still gets cheers when he is brought back for anything. (and his daughter is hot)

Hogan will still draw. He is, in may ways, one of the founding fathers of modern wrestling. Wrestling's primary fan base is in their 20's and started watching wrestling when Hogan was at his peak in WWE and the WCW.

Ditka. Hogan's strong, but without a script, he'd be lost.
