The following league will be born this year and I am inviting Sports Outlaw to be a part of it. If Sports Outlaw would like to accept this invite, I need one member to take on the lead role and contact me at lukin83@gmail.com with the contact information and forum names of all four board representatives. I will post new details when all five boards and their representatives are set.
Thanks
Luke

5 Wide Fantasy Football League Rules
Composition
The 5 Wide Fantasy Football League will consist of four members from each of five message boards, making up a 20 team league. These 20 teams will be split into four divisions, with one team from each board in each. Owners who draft 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20 will each be placed into separate divisions.
The board with the best combined winning percentage among its four representatives after the fantasy regular season (Week 13) will be crowned the champion. Playoffs will continue through week 16 in order to name an individual champion.
Draft
The draft will be a 16 round, serpentine draft. The draft will run at a slow pace with a 12 hour time limit per pick, although owners will be encouraged to pre-draft. The members of each individual board will be separated along the draft order as follows: Board A will draft from slots 1, 10, 11, and 20; Board B will draft from slots 2, 9, 12, and 19; Board C will draft from slots 3, 8, 13, and 18; Board D will draft from slots 4, 7, 14, and 17; Board D will draft from slots 5, 6, 15, and 16.In 2006, each board will be randomly selected to choose their draft slots. In future years, the last place board from the previous year will have first choice of draft slots.
Rosters and Starting Requirements
League roster size will be limited to 16 players per team. Starting requirements will include one quarterback, one kicker, and one team defense/special teams, in addition to five flex positions (RB, WR, or TE).No more than two RBs, five WRs, or three TEs may be started at once, but any combination of five will be accepted. It is only fitting that teams have the capability of starting five WRs in the 5 Wide Fantasy Football League.
Currently the Commish Software, which will be used for this league, does not permit this type of flex ability. In the event that no change is made to the software prior to the start of the draft, owners may start any combination of five RBs, WRs, and TEs.
Scoring Rules
Scoring rules for QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, and PKs are as follows:
The league schedule will run weeks 1 through 13 of the NFL regular season, including doubleheaders in weeks 2, 11, and 12.Each owner will play every opposing board representative once during the season. Representatives of the same board will not play one another.
Playoffs
The four division winners and two wildcard teams will make the playoffs, much like one conference of the NFL. The top two division winners will be awarded a bye week. Playoffs will be conducted Week 14 (Wildcard Week), Week 15 (Divisional Week), and Week 16 (Championship Week).
Tiebreakers to determine standings will be as follows:
1. Winning Percentage
2. Head-to-Head Record
3. Divisional Winning Percentage (between teams in same division only)
4. Total Points Scored
5. Coin Flip
Free Agency
Each owner will be allotted $100 for blind bidding during the season. Bids must be made in increments of $1.Free agency will open every Tuesday morning, after the draft, and will remain open until Thursday (Wednesday, should there be a Thursday game) night at 11:00 PM EST. The highest bid on any individual player during this time will be awarded that player. Tiebreakers for same bids will be exactly the same as those that will determine the standings, only the lower team in the standings will be awarded the player. Owners may include their blind bidding money in trades, if they wish.
Trading
Trades may not be made between members of the same board. Draft picks, players, and blind bidding money are all fair game with trades. The trading deadline will be at 11:00 PM EST on the Thursday (Wednesday, should there be a Thursday game) prior to the Week 10 games. The commissioner holds the power to veto any trade he believes to be collusive.
Turnover
Since there are only four spots open for each board to fill, turnover is necessary to get involvement from each board in its entirety. It is mandated that at least the bottom two owners from each board forfeit their spot next year in order to allow more board members a chance at representing their board. As many as all four members may step down if they wish, but opening the bottom two spots is mandatory.
We are going to go forward with this league, so count sportsoutlaw in.
You and FF LiveWire are confirmed so far. Still waiting on the others. Whenever you get your four representatives, email me per my message in the first post.
