I think I am going to make this my permanent browser. It has gotten to the point that I have nothing but problems with IE, especially since being on a high speed connection. IE seems to hang up constantly while I have never had a problem with Firefox, and Firefox simply runs faster and cleaner.

Maybe IE can redeem itself when they release their new browser this year, for now though, they have clearly dropped into 2nd place as far as I am concerned.

That's what I use at work...it really is the best. Plus, you can have multiple windows open at once (the tabs at the top) without taking up all the space at the bottom of the screen

Score:
IE: 5
FF: 9

the tabs are great. Explorer is supposed to incorporate that in their next big update as well as a ton of security features, but we will just have to wait and see.

Firefox is more secure, faster and more stable. Why not dump IE and go with the best. Especially when its free.

My brother says the new Netscape browser is even better than Firefox. It incoporates both IE and Firefox engines. I haven't tried it though

I havent tried netscape either. I have used Firefox off and on for a couple months now though, and now I think it will become my permanent browser until IE can step out of the dark ages.

Firefox does have its limitations though, as some applications dont work, such as a few chat rooms and things like that. But who needs that stupid shit anyway.
