Ive never heard of a race called the "white race." There are many different kinds of black people who don't have their roots based in Africa or other carribean nations and are of a different race. Therefore to say that Michael Jackson is a black man is inaccurate. He is a white man. His race is another question but he definately is a white man.

His skin isn't closer to white...it IS white. He is a white man. It has nothing to do with politically correct...there is just no such thing as a black race or a white race.

Michael Jackson was declared not guilty in this case due to the prosecution's failure to prove their case, not because of his "race".
