I don't mean to be an insensitive individual as I am certain many of you will call me after you read this.

These countries are countries that have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. The bible says if you go to a house and the people there reject the Gospel, kick the dust off your feet and move on to the next house. Love your neighbor does not mean giving them supplies when God has chosen to punish them because they have not accepted Jesus Christ. It means to bring them the Gospel. Whether you want to believe it or not that is why this has happened to them. It is not Global Warming. But is G.W. God's Will.

As for the former slave states, this is why they are suffering with bad weather. Just because there are no longer slaves there, that doesn't mean God has forgot. "Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord!" The blood, sweat and tears of the slaves is still in the soil. So if you haven't had a tornado or a fire (Florida), you will. I don't know what you can do to stop it. But voting for Obama might help! People say they will not vote for him just because he is black. I am not trying to scare you but it is safe to say God heard you say that.

I am sorry, but I don't believe God is a vengfull God. The times of the Old Testament has passed. In case you have not noticed, Jesus has come and died for us, so we no longer need to have a vengful god, but only accept forgiveness. To assume all evil, or bad is due to God's punishment is both wrong, and selfish. God has allowed us free will, to accept his gift or not, but he won't punish us for it. It saddens me that you take global crisis, and disaster, and try to turn it into a political praise for Obama, and a religious effort for you.

You say that god is punishing Americans with tornados and fires for being slave states? Then please, explain the following:

Leviticus 25:44-46 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

Exodus 21:20-21 If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.

Now, I realize that you will probably tell me that this is no longer accurate as you can find this in the old testament, yet how is it that you conclude that because Jesus died for your sins, that the word of god, whether new or old, shall just be thrown out? Does the bible not say that god's word is perfect?

However, just for the sake of argument, here is a pro-slavery statement from the new testament.

Titus 2:9-10 Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them.

So once again, I hardly think that god is punishing these people for having once been slave states because, according to his own word, buying and selling slaves? Fine. Beating Slaves? Good. Face it, the Bible's stance on this is clear and it is repulsive.


Truly you would have had a more sound argument in telling us that god is punishing the Chinese, even the people a mere few miles from where I live (Florida's Space Coast), because they worked on the Sabbath.
