Exclamation Ram has obtained a kitchen pass to attend his first MMA event! :thrash:

Ring of Fire Mixed Martial Arts Championship Fighting - ROF 32 Full Card Announced

Been a fan since UFC I in Denver 1993 and now I'm going with Mrs's cousin to see a minor league MMA fight tonight.

I checked out the card and don't know any fighter's name but it is live and according to said cousin our tickets are two rows from the cage. I loves me some gladatorial combat and will try to get some cell phone picks as well as commentary up sometime this weekend.

The blood will flow in the Mile High City tonight!

Have a great time. Cover your beer when the blood starts flying, unless you enjoy a red beer once in a while, that is.

Believe I would have to throw that beer away. My luck it would be some HIV infested Thomas Hearnes blood.

Not too bad. Most were locals so the talent wasn't all there however there are two fighters coming out of Denver that are pretty damn good (one was a woman).

I took some cell phone pics. If anyone is interested I'll email them to myself and get them posted.

I have been to two MMA events. The first was just a local amateur fight. Most were high School wrestlers trying to break into the sport. Interesting to watch, a great KO and a choke out in which someone's face started to turn blue.....refs were just as raw as the fighters).

The other was a UFC event in Cincinnati! The atmosphere at the UFC is amazing! Not something I would do all the time due to cost, but worth the experience at least once.

I'd be intterested in seeing the pics! Glad ya had a good time.
