I am way the hell out in the woods, and the samsung just wasn't getting it done.

Here on our land, we have a large, very large metal building built. Inside of that, we have a temporary apartment built until we get around to actually building a house. No hurry though as there is plenty of room.

Inside this building, with huge double doors open on both ends, I had zero reception with my samsung. With the RAZR V9, I am cranking out 4 bars. I no longer have to go outside to make a phone call.

And riding around in this area, I now have cell service where I never had it before.

The difference is night and day. And the clarity of this phone is amazing.

Only upgrade I did to it was the memory card because I save way too many text message jokes/pics. 30 messages filled up the stock card, so I had them put a 2 gig card in.

So, not sure if anyone actually read my post lol, but I'm still debating geting an iPhone 3G. Still a tough choice for me.

My 30GB iPod died on me and since my warranty is up, they said I'm SOL. So, I need to spend at least $200 replacing the iPod. It's $300 for the 16GB iPhone model, so I'd be paying an initial price that's almost the same as a new iPod. But I heard that AT&T knocked the monthly price way up. So it may seem cheaper than the first generation iPhones, but after the 2 year contract they force you to sign, you'll end up paying over $240 than the original.

Not sure what to do. It releases July 11th, and I have AT&T. The phone looks sweet but I don't know if I want to pay the extra monthly.

i have a razor and i give you a week maybe two before you hate it. you'll see why. since your att/bellsouth/cingular/whoever the f'k they are now, as am i, upgrade to the new i phone coming out here soon. it is 16g and does everything you can imagine and the price is supposed to be pretty decent. i dont remember the details right off hand but its a nice toy.
