George Carlin Dies

Comedian George Carlin dies in Los Angeles at 71 - Yahoo! News

I got to see him at the Fabulous Fox Theater here in St. Louis a few years back. What a show. He always told it like it was. His views will be greatly missed.

No ma'am...he had abused alcohol and drugs for many, many years. It just finally caught up with him.

Yeah, the article says heart failure. He will be greatly missed by so many people. One of the funniest men to ever walk this earth. This news blows.

I saw his face on CNN Mobile and was hoping he'd finally taken over as emperor of the world.

George Carlin was a man beyond his years in talent, thought, originality, and comedic genius.

What set him apart so much more in my mind is the same guy that was rolling adults at 8pm was on PBS at 8am as the conductor for Shining Time Station, reaching out to children and making a difference in their lives as well.

We lost one of the giants yesterday. Very sad.

Good one catman, they were talking about that skit tonight on Fox Sports Radio and I wanted to go back and check it out again.

Wish I could have went and seen him again before he dropped dead.

I saw George in 2002 on a tour of an HBO special. I had actually seen all the material on TV and my face still hurt from laughing from the show.
I adored this man. He was my favorite stand up comedian who brought more than just laughs to the audience.
He will be dearly missed
RIP George.
