IBAF May Force Teams To Skip WBC

If the U.S. doesn't allow Cuba to participate in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, then the International Baseball Federation will order their members to withdraw from the March event or face suspension from other future international tournaments.

Well, I guess baseball has turned into a political football. Or to use tennis terms, who's court is the ball in now?

It appears Cuba will be allowed to play in the tournament:
