NCAA Basketball - Rankings - Yahoo! Sports

Syracuse is ranked 20th.

As early as it is in the season, these rankings are more on reputation and coaching than they are about play on the floor.
Creighton is ranked 20th on one poll and 25th on the other. They could be a team to watch this season.

We also had an upset last night. Vermont beat BC last night.

With Oden out till January, I don't expect the Bucks to stay up in the top 5 for long, but I do expect to see them climb back up later in the year. Not sure if they can beat UNC and Fla without him.

Here are the new rankings. I said Kansas would fall to around 15 in the AP poll Kansas is 10th. USA Today/ESPN Kansas is 12th.

Syracuse is slowing moving up the rankings.

Here are the new rankings. OSU is ranked 1 in USA today/ESPN poll and UCLA is ranked 1 in AP poll. And we all know that the only poll people pay attention to is the AP poll.

I don't see how any team at this point in the season with two losses can be ranked in the top 25. They should earn their way back on the list by winning, not losing.

I agree, Bubba. The rankings are still based on reputation at this point in the season though. If Kansas, Florida or Michigan St. loses another game soon, they will drop dramatically in the polls.
