I wonder if he will actually start driving a truck across the Country like he used to say on the J.B. Hunt commercials several years ago?

I was very relieved to hear that!! The Spurs were talking to him about coming here and I can't stand him! The local sportscaster in San Antonio began talking about Malone's retirement by saying, "Spurs fans won't be forced to cheer for Karl Malone"

Probably just as well. He could be a contributor to the right team, but he simply wouldn't work for everyone.
He had a great career, but it has to come to an end sometime. This is as good a time as any.

As a native San Diegan now living in Utah, I have mixed feelings on the guy. He's done a lot of good up here in the community that you never hear about but I hated the Jazz and his dirty play before I moved up here. I think he'd be smart to call it quits. And I know why the Spurs fans hate him...I mean not many people have knocked David Robinson out cold.

I was feeling that exact same way back when the Dallas rumors were circulating. I was very happy to see him not coming here.
