The Sonics will come back like the Hartford Whalers.

But the Sonics as you knew them are moving to Oklahoma City, done deal, case closed. Now the new case to bring the Sonics back can start, but they did not save "their" Sonics.
You are clueless. Are you aware of the Schultz lawsuit which could force the Okie Weasels to return to Seattle in 2010? If you are following ESPN's coverage, you would know that their legal expert, Lester Munson, believes Schultz has a 60% chance of winning that lawsuit.

This isn't over. I don't expect the team to comeback via the lawsuit, I expect that the NBA settles first. David Stern does not want to be diposed under oath regarding NBA financials.

sigh, no I'm not clueless, I'm realistic and unbiased. Every NW issue there is you feel you are the only one who knows anything and feel your always the only correct opinion, well guess what, you were wrong here. Your team just left your city (you said no way it woudl happen and claimed I was misinformed for even mentioning the possibility....guess I wasn't so misinformed), move on to other opportunities and quit crying about shit that won't happen. If you truly believe they will ever return to Seattle from Oklahoma City, you sir, are the one who is clueless, it simply won't happen. What you "expect" to happen likely will, but what won't happen is that team ever returning so simply move on. You lost your team, sorry about that, but you may want to try to make a point without using the word clueless.....

Well you are wrong here. I bet you have not followed this issue like I have.

Do you know what the Schultz lawsuit is even about? Are you aware of the trial proceedings a couple of weeks ago and how they were structured? Have you read the emails?

If not, you have an ingorant opinion regarding this.

Last Wednesday was just the city letting the liars out of the lease with the city. It in no way affects the Schultz lawsuit. If you have no clue who Schultz is or what his lawsuit is about, you are 100% clueless on this issue.

Follow this issue and then get back to me. If you have any question, just ask.

Read what I say in the post above. Are you just trying to be prick and ruffle feathers?

If not, then STFU, you are indeed ignorant, clueless, (insert any other adjective that means head up you ass). Even $tern's buddy E$PN admit there is a chance that the Okie Thieves may have to return after playing only one season in Okieville. I don't expect that to happen. I expect Stern to settle first.

Connect the dots:

- There is a trial next Spring that could result in the Okies being forced to return ownership to Schultz or pay upwards of $100,000,000, the amount of money directly lost by Schultz due to the Okies lies. Plus his civic reputation took a hit, so there has to be a value on that too. Also, if the legislature grants authority to turn over Qwest/Safeco $ to arena, the Okie group will lose another $30,000,000 if a team does not return to Seattle.

- During the relocation meetings, things did not go smoothly. Despite the 28-2 vote, most owners were upset at what was happening. They do not want to lose the important Seattle market.

- The Spring 2009 trial will force the NBA to disclose financial information, which they do not want to do

- The CEOs of Microsoft and Costco, two of the richest people in America are on a quest to return NBA to Seattle, and maybe even take a plunge at the NHL too

- David Stern has given Seattle 18 months to get something done. What does this mean?

- Over half of the teams in the NBA are losing money. Expansion cash would help the bleeding some.

Connect the dots, something is going to happen next Spring.
