Another player may go to Europe

It's being reported here that if Ben Gordon doesn't get a new deal with the Bulls he may go to Europe as well.

Good chance that this becomes a trend for NBA players. There is good money to be made in these other leagues.

personally i think its the opposite. we're seeing a bunch of mid tier guys leave so far, and i dont think gordons a superstar, but hes not mid tier either. i think more than guys leaving, they'll just be using this as leverage against nba teams to get better contracts. thats really all i think gordons doing, and i think the bulls are smart enough to know that.

For right now, Europe's not much different than Japan and baseball.

I don't believe there's a huge demand in Europe for the type of basketball being played in the NBA. I know I can barely stand to watch the bullshit that passes as a team sport these days.

If Gordon goes to Europe, he's an idiot. He's on the cusp of becoming an NBA superstar. He needs to chill out for another season.
