Kobe interested in looking at the European market as well.

Kobe says Europe a possibility - Olympics - Yahoo! Sports

I don't see him doing this but thought it was an interesting article.

Maybe if he did we wouldn't have to hear everything that comes out of his mouth.

The Superstars who are talking about going overseas are doing nothng more then using it as their newest bargaining chip. Give me more money or I'll go to Europe. Pay me 30 mil a year or Im playing in Spain next season.

Personally, I say let them go. The NBA is the premiere basketball league in the world. Quick, name the alltime leading scorer in Europe....Name Spains Hall of Fame players....Who holds the single game scoring record over seas....If you could actually answer any of these without looking them up, you're either a Basketball genius or you live there and these are your teams. Guys like Kobe and Lebron care about their legacy. They want to be remembered as the best. They want to be Jordan. You can't be Jordan in Spain.

In his case, he has an MVP award. A gold medal. World Championships. Now he wants to get his ass paid. Money is all that matters to most in professional sports.
