I agree Wes.

ER, it doesnt matter what you think about it. Some people think the UFC is barbaric. What would you say if the UFC was in WWE's spot?

I would certainly be more sensitive to the UFC's situation than to the WWEs.

As far as I'm concerned, the WWE is just using the building to broadcast a fictional television series. They can find another home for that. Their revenue stream isn't dependant on filling those seats, it's on getting their idiotic program on in prime time.

The issue isnt what you think about professional wrestling. There are many of us on here who enjoy it. The issue is about the fact they sold the building, under contract, to another corporation holding a major event attended by thousands of people and are now stuck in the mud over it.

You're right. It is a shitty situation. I lean strongly in one direction based on my simple distaste for wrestling.

Monday Night RAW is moving to (ironically) the Staples Center from Denver.

Regardless if you're biased against this or not, it basically defines breach of contract on Kroenke's behalf, unless the contract had a stipulation written into it for this type of possibility.

I'd LOVE to know what they had to give as compensation to the WWE for that move!

Is the event still scheduled for the same night?

If so, then what happens to all the Denver natives who purchased tickets just because WWE was in town? They're not all going to fly to LA for a freaking WWE event.

McMahon said on Sportscenter that they were essentially forced out. Press conference in NYC tomorrow addressing details.
If this is the case, I would assume Kroenke would be forced to provide the refund to the ticketholders since he basically owns the Pepsi Center.
