| Psychopath | Where will Brady Quinn go? (Including Troy Smith Debate) Of course the obvious answer is the Raiders, however neither Reggie Bush or Vince Young are in a Texans jersey. Will Quinn go first or will he slip through the cracks and wind up in Clevland or Tampa Bay? |

| Deputy Premium Member Forum Leader | I agree with Mike, in the right offense, he would be fine. However, in Oakland, where they have no set offense, nor any decent off. line...the kid will get killed. As for who will take him...unless Oakland can pull a FA qB out...I think they are almost locked into Quinn at this point. Detroit would be another option...but they have greater needs than Qb right now. I also don't think Cleveland takes him....as they have two young QBs now....and are looking for a vet to work with those. So if Raiders don't take him...he will fall to 4 or beyond. |

| Who Me? Admin | I have to disagree on Quinn, I think he's a remake of David Carr. He may do OK, but that is about it. There are definatly better QB prospects IMO in this draft then Quinn, but since Quinn played for ND, the hype machine will be in full force and this kid will get draft very high, probally #1, and BUST!! Sure he can put up numbers and look great against the bottom dwellers in the NCAA. But let's look at what he does against top competition: vs Michigan 24-48 for 234 yds - 3 TD's - 3 INT's @ USC 22-45 for 274 yds - 3 TD's - 0 INT's vs LSU 15-35 for 148 yds - 2 TD's - 2 INT's The stat that JUMPS off the page at me is in these 3 games, Quinn's completion % is 47.6%!!! He is also only averaging 219 yards and had 8 TD's to 5 INT's in those games. In watching him over the years he is just not an accurate passer, and I think this will be an area that will haunt him as he trys to make it big at the next level. Oakland will be a disaster for him, but the other options won't be much better, I just don't think he is good enough to be a quality NFL starter. |

| who me? Admin | He also won't be throwing to Samardzija or McKnight at the pro level. This kid will do well no matter where he goes. You are trying to pick and choose a few games to judge him by, yet you are still stuck with more touchdowns than interceptions. Bottom line is he has played well against good overall talent at the college level and his game will translate well to the NFL. There may be better guys coming out, but I couldn't pick one over him right now. |

| Who Me? Admin | Mike, you do know you can go fishing in lakes and rivers as well right? QB's that may be available this year that will have better NFL career's then Quinn: Brohm Russell Smith |
