Kid looked really good as the year went on. The Culpepper comparisons are a legitimate concern. His ability to read defenses honest will determine his success IMO. he throws a sweet long ball, and it very difficult to bring down.

looks like a culpepper clone to me. on the right team in the right situation, he could be a monster. but that is very rare, and he wont have the huge talent advantage like he had at lsu. off the top of my head, i cant see any teams where he could really be successful. im glad he declared though, hopefully one of the teams up at the top will buy into him and let another guy slide minnesota's way.

if he has really good combine workouts, he could really hurt quinn's stock as some of those top teams could decide to wait and try to get russell later. i personally think hes a bust. would be an interesting thought to the panthers maybe.
