Jamaal Anderson - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

Jamaal Anderson

Defensive End - Arkansas
  • Height - 6'6"
  • Weight - 274
  • 40 Time - 4.80
2006 Stats:
  • 32 solo tackles, 14 assists (16 solos and 8 assists went for a loss)
  • 12 solo sacks, 3 assisted sacks
  • 4 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, 12 QB hurries
Draft Projection - First Round

NFL Impact - Jamaal Anderson arrived in Arkansas in 2003 as a 205lb wide receiver 70lbs and 3 years later, he was enjoying a major breakout season as a defensive end, constantly wreaking havoc in the backfield. If he wasn't making a tackle, or sacking a quarterback, he was most likely changing the direction of the play. Anderson is very likely a top 10 pick in the 2007 NFL draft, drawing attention from teams like the Cardinals, Dolphins, Reskins and Vikings. Instant impact player that could be drawing many double teams as a rookie.

What type of impact will Jamal Anderson make at the NFL level? Which team (s) do you see looking to draft him?

Saw a mock today that had him landing in Cincy.......oh if only this could happen........However, I don't see him lasting much past the top 10. Kid has good size and quickness. Has a good burst off the line which could make him the impact DE many teams are desperately searching for. Your possible targets look dead on to me!

This kid is a stud. We are going to miss him at Arkansas next season. :(

There's alot to be said for being the sack leader in the toughest conference in the country. Also losing Ugoh, Chris Houston early (whom I am praying Pittsburgh drafts) and whineyass prima donna Mustain.
Is Keith Jackson Jr. graduating or does he have one year left?

Jackson was a Senior and is done. Mustain can go....he will never live up to the hype. The real reason we will always be mediocre is because of Houston Nutt. Until he goes, last season will probably be about as good as we will see.

Yes, Houston and Ugoh will be huge losses as well, however our line is loaded which should be enough to let McPhadden run all over everyone again next year.
