From Miller's Sign Up Thread:

assign a SO member to be the team expert for each team and they make the draft according to what they would do if they ran the team, not necessarily what they thing will happen

Right on Mutts, this should be what you would do, with one small exception, NO TRADES. Only trades that have actually occured wikll be recognized.

i assume this is a given, but hopefully we can get a good commentary thread with reasoning behind each pick as it falls, especially first round. would love to hear the homer view each time through.

Funny, yet sad because it seems so true, but I have hope this year. I am very happy with what they have done lately. The Bly trade was a great move. Getting rid of an unhappy player who did not fit the system for Bell and Foster filled two needs. The FA signings were not spectacular, but were solid additions without paying too much. And trying to get a bidding war going by letting all teams know that we will consider all offers for the #2 pick is a smart move.

Anyway, golf is no longer in my plans today. Thunderstorms will be rolling through here this morning. Happy draft day, everyone.

I think it would behoove them (Lions) to look very closely at Carr if they have any speck of cap room.

Unless they're considering D.Stanton in round 2.

They have shown a lot of interest in Stanton. I don't think it's a smokescreen either.
