im sure this will end up being sidney rice, but let me cast an early dissenting vote. i like him alright but its a little high, and hes not going to solve KC's receiving problems.

i like paul posluszny for them. he could really give them a fearsome group of LBs, probably moving bell back inside where hes more comfortable and playing posluszny at WLB with young stud derrick johnson on the other side.

that would give KC the best corner tandem in the league and a top 3 LB corps. yes the bigger needs are at WR and DT, but its too much of a stretch to take either one here imo. the only other pick i considered was OT joe staley.

My expected pick is Blalock, but going with Staley as he is the tackle listed in the poll.

i like Rice because the chiefs need more weapoms than LJ and TG. Jeff Webb and Dante Hall don't scare me at all.

Actually, I agree with you here..I see KC waiting for WR for 2nd round or later, I also agree Rice isn't good value here.

My concern is cb for them. Houston or Ross is a great grab...S is more an issue for them..but still. I also agree DT is a major need and like Tyler, but again not good value. So for me its LB or Cb. I am gonna go LB for now.

Yeah, maybe ....two or three years ago. Both have serious age, and who is #3???? Granted...it is just my opinion, but to get a shot at Ross or Houston...with the wr depth...isn't a bad move by them.

Truth to tell, if KC comes out with either one of them, Staley or Poul...(sp?) the Penn state Lb, they will have a very good start.
