Adrian Peterson Might Be Out Until 2008?

More information surfacing about the medical report. It is possible that the bone might have to be re-broke and have a plate added, which could shelve Peterson until 2008.

Rumors that this could propel Marshawn Lynch to be drafted before Peterson...

The "next Jerry Rice" label is only slightly less overused than the "next Michael Jordan" label. You can't take that hype as anything other than that.

Try reading between the lines though. Of course the Lions will take him if they can't trade down BEFORE they pick. Just like the Chargers picking Eli even though they KNEW he wasn't ever going to play a down for them. So yes, they'll take Calvin, but I wouldn't count on ever seeing him in Lions gear after he dons the cap and holds up the jersey with the commish..

I can't watch the infamous Ryan Leaf locker room meltdown enough... I actually laugh out loud every time I see or hear that clip.

ive heard this as well. rumor is that the offer is an '08 first round draft pick. personally if im the chargers, i take that and run. i think that will be a top 10 draft pick.

I think, if I heard correctly, that it was the Chargers that offered the deal. Might be wrong though.

Browns are expected to take Joe Thomas at #3 if Russel and Johnson go #1 and #2 according to Adam Schefter on NFL Network.

WOW, if the Browns take Thomas I will be impressed. As I have said all along, that is who they SHOULD pick!!! This will be great for that franchise.

agreed, Offensive line is what the Browns need, and that would be a great anchor out there protecting Frye.

For the Draft, I have no issues not having the NFL network. The draft is something ESPN has down to a science. Even if I had the Network, I would primarily watch ESPN.

I'm not sure last year I wasn't home so couldn't watch. This is my first year watching on NFL network but I would assume yes.
