| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | I just thought I would bring this to your attention. All 32 teams are now rumored to be planning on trading up into the first 6-7 picks to get somebody. This trading frenzy may end up having a tremendous impact on the early part of the draft. Expect to see as many as 3-4 General Managers duking it out on stage before each early pick to get these valueable players. Rumors of bodyguard/thugs being hired to take out opposing teams GM's are starting to circulate. The entire draft may have to be switched to "pay-per-view" because the level of mayhem may get so out of hand that the draft won't be able to be shown on regular cable at this early timeframe. Just thought that I should give you a heads up on the way the winds are blowing. How about you? Heard any good draft rumors? |

| who me? Admin | Jerry Jones said today in a press conference that he is strongly considering bundling up some picks and trading up in the first round of the draft. Said this is the first year in several years that he has been able to approach the draft without the need to find a first year starter, and that is is considering a trade up if certain top players fall more than he has ever considered it. He of course was asked about Calvin Johnson and said he wasn't going to pay that price tag, but could very likely see the team moving up to the 10-15 range for the right player, possibly a little higher depending on the price. |

| Who Me? Admin | I have heard the Dolphion rumore as well. I heard the possibility of them moving to #6. TB is supposedly seriously considering a trade with Detroit to move up for Calvin Johnson if he is there. |

| who me? Admin | Almost Forgot Barry Switzer will be in town this week to go over scouting information on running backs for Dallas. (Switzer has been doing this for a few years now, even while Parcells was here) Not sure how early Dallas would be looking at a running back, but expect them to target a smaller running back when they do. |

| Outlaw | That's the thing, there's nothing that solid. All Mueller has said is that he believe the Fins have the ammo to move up, he hasn't said he would. My gut feeling is they they're going to play this draft conservative and build a base, if they move at all it will probably be down. |

| Outlaw | I don't think so. I think it's more of a thing where Mueller believes he has enough draft picks that he can make any team from the #1-#8 position want to trade without scuttling the rest of the draft. The only way I think that'll happen is if there's a player available that won't slide any further and they both want and need him. IOW, Joe Thomas. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Fins take the #3 spot if it meant draft Thomas. Call it a hunch or vibe. |

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | A lot of smoke being blown around by GM's right now. Buffalo trades up for a RB. Miami trades up for a lineman? Would actually like to see Miami grab Brown. |

| Outlaw | Brown's an okay consolation prize, but Joe Thomas is a Richmond Webb MkII. Might even be better than Webb. Brown has to be coached and the Fins aren't in a position to tolerate something like that from a 1st round pick. |

| Richest Vman Alive Forum Leader | heard another rumor that sounds crazy until you remember that its the redskins... them trading their #6, next year's #1, and perhaps more, to move up for calvin johnson. |
