Well here we are, sitting at 0-8 at the half way point. Thanks Mike Brown! Bengals fans like myself are accustomed to poor teams, after all, that is all we have had for the last two decades with a couple rare exceptions. But this one seems to hurt more. The reason in my opinion is the fact that he gave us hope. He gave us hope that things were changing, hope that someone other than himself had some power to change the direction of this failed franchise.

The plus side for the Bengals is their defense is showing progress and has been surprisingly good against the pass this year. Alright, first some clean up work. Palmer is Out as is Graham. Fitzgerald and Rayner are in. I was all set early this week to predict the breakout game for this offense and call the upset.....then Palmer was declared out. Well there went that idea. I have little faith in Fitz after his showing against the Browns, but this team has played much better on the road so who knows.

On offense I expect the same struggles and pathetic play calling that dug us into the 0-5 hole. I expect...

Well the silver lining on this one is the best this team has played all year was on the road against the defending champs. So maybe they will decide to show up in big D today.....then again, maybe not.

The talent disparity in this one is wide. Dallas is coming off their first defeat of the season and you can bet they will be ready to make sure that it does not become #2. On offense, the big question for the Bengals is will Carson Palmer play. Word is that he is determined to play...

Well it's been 4 days and I still can barely bring myself to talk about what has to be the worst caliber of NFL football I have seen in person in my life. Sunday's Bengals/Browns game was abysmal! Sitting in the stadium fans of both teams sat in disgust over what we had to witness. In the end, the Browns won, but I don't think I would be to proud of that victory. But with that said, that's showing you just how bad the Bengals performance was.
