Start’em Sit’em

Week 13Starts

Quarterbacks

Start of the Week: Carson Palmervs Detroit The scoring hasnt been there for Carson as of late, but against histories worst pass defense I think you finally get that fantasy playoff clinching performance you crave.

Other Must Starts

Jay Cutler vs St Louis:This should be a game where Cutler looks like the QB theybrought himin to be.

Runningbacks

Start of the Week: Steven Jackson vs Chicago: I like Jacksons chances against the Bears simply by default. He should get 30 touches in this ballgame.

Other Must Starts

Correll Buckhalter, RB, Denver vs Kansas City: Take advantage of this guyin a good matchup versus thehapless Chiefs

Wide Receivers

Start of the Week: Jeremy Maclin vs Atlanta:Maclinis primed to have abig game against the Falcons, especially with extra opportunities coming this week as the Philly D crushes Chris Redman.

Other Must Starts

Terrell Owens vs New York Jets: Owens has been on a mini run. He is alost the only real weapon in the passing game. To me this equals alot of balls his way and a TD as the Jets blow out the Bills.

Tight Ends

Start of the Week:

Visanthe Shiancoe vs Arizona:2 receptions, 10 yards, 1 TD. Ill take a 10 point day out of my TE.

Week13 Sits

Quarterback

Sit of the Week: Matt Leinart vs Minnesota: Some of you already have him submitted as your QB. 1. Im not sure who will actually be playing this week, and 2. The Vikings will eat him alive if he does.

Other Must Sits

Ben Roethisberger vs Oakland:He should be a go, but honestly theSteelers can win this game by 20 simply running the ball, playing defense and protecting the QB by limiting his throws. I dont see a productive week for Big Ben if he goes. If he sits,DennisDixon falls in this same catagory.

Runningbacks

Sit of the Week: Ryan Grant vs Baltimore: In a word……no

Other Must Sits

Lawrence Maroney vs Miami: Maroney has been a nice play of late. I wouldnt roll the dice this week against Miami, as I see this as Tom Brady vs Ricky Williams week.

Wide Receivers

Sit of the Week: Roddy White vs Philadelphia: This is a very poor matchup for White, especially with a new QB. Look elsewhere this week if you can.

Other Must Sits

Greg Jennings vs Baltimore: Jennings hasnt really been there for you this year anyway, and I dont see this as a game he does well in

Tight Ends

Sit of the Week: Tony Gonzalez vs Philadelphia: Amazing how fast a change at QB can tank your team……

Writers Note: Ive enjoyed bringing you the knowledge this year, and truly hope some of this advice has gotten you into the post season. To all who are playing on, best of luck, and to all who are building for next year, remember, your always just one player away.

You said to start Roethlesberger, any upside to starting Joe Flacco over Big Ben, i have them both.

    Thanks

Bench Forte??? Frank Gore just torched the Seahawks for around 200 yds and 2 TD’s last week. I think Forte breaks outta his slump this week.

I’d say Forte would be a definite Start

I agree, if it’s any time to start Forte, this is the week. After 2 struggling games against solid run defenses, Lovie and the Bears are looking to re-establish the running game.

This will be Forte’s 2009 coming out party.

Yes sir. Dont look like Forte broke out of that slump in “Gore” like fashion.

Start of the Week: Steve Smith, WR, New York Giants vs Kansas City: Who is going to stop him? Yes, its just that simple people. This has 10-150-2 written all over it for Mr. Smith. GREAT CALL DIDNT HAVE HIM BUT I STARTED ELI!!!!

FYI – After this posting it appears Eli will be a game time decision. If there is some reason (and I cant imagine why) you have David Carr on the roster, I wouldnt worry too much about playing him. The Giants are just that superior to the Raiders.

The Giants have the 15th rated rush defense, and the #1 pass defense to date. With the air attack of the Saints, there will be room to run.

TE’s have tore the Vikings up this year so far!

Sure hope you’re wrong about PT.

I hope so, but I just have a feeling Brees and Manning open up a shoot out air war.

Just read this today…2 things I disagree on.

TO – Yes, the game was already played but TO and Fitzpatrick against Revis? Not a favorable matchup at all and should have been avoided from the get go

White – We’ll see what happens but history shows that White should be productive against the Eagles. White torched Samuel for 100+ yards and 2 TDs last year as Samuel struggles against big receivers. And White has played with Redman before and did well 2 years ago when Redman was the QB. Last week, Redman targeted White 13 times.
