Waiver Wire Week 16
By: Jeremy Miller
Thanks to everyone who has supported this feature all season! Here we are, for most, championship week in fantasy football. For those who still may need that last minute sub, or want to know who to block their opposition from getting, here are your best bets for week 16.
Quarterbacks
If you need a WW QB at this point in the year you are in some big trouble, I do not see any obvious names that stick out.
Running Backs
Jerome Harrison, RB, Cle – Anyone see that one coming? Seems like the Browns RB situation has been a game of roulette of late. However, I think the game is over. After the racking up the 3rd most yards in a single game in NFL history I’d say Harrison’s starting spot is safe this week. He is available in most leagues, he’s a guy you’ll want to grab.
Maurice Morris, RB, Det – Morris came in for Kevin Smith and had a very nice game. If you have limped to the playoffs without a running game, great for you, you may want to look to Morris for help.
Michael Bush, RB, Oak – Bush is very hot and cold. Last week he was hot, unless your desperate, don’t bank on him staying that way this week.
Wide Receivers
Josh Morgan – Morgan has been solid in 2 of the last 3 weeks. He seems to be getting into a grove in this offense. He also is playing Detroit this weekend. If you need a championship game sleeper at WR, Morgan is worth the look.
Tight End
David Thomas, TE, NO – Thomas filled in nicely for Shockey this past weekend, if Shockey is unable to go he’s a solid fill in. Thomas caught 8 balls for 77 yards and was targeted 10 times last week.

You are not gonna find Forsett on the wire if you are in any leagues with AD. I was grabbing him several weeks back

Careful on Britt. He got his shot due to injury to Gage. Gage is working his way back and there is no telling if he will cut into Britt’s time or not.
